Add Watermark to PDF
Apply a text watermark to every page of your PDF document. Customize the text, color, and opacity. All processing is done securely in your browser.
- Select PDF: Click the button to upload your PDF document.
- Customize Watermark: Enter your desired text and adjust the font size, color, and opacity using the controls.
- Apply & Download: Click the "Apply Watermark & Download" button. The tool will process the file and your browser will automatically download the new, watermarked PDF.
This tool uses the `pdf-lib` JavaScript library to modify PDF documents directly in your browser. When you upload a file and set your options, the tool reads the PDF, iterates through each page, and draws your text diagonally across the center. This entire process happens on your local machine, and your files are never sent to a server.
Can I add an image as a watermark?
Currently, this tool only supports text-based watermarks. Image watermark support may be added in a future update.
Can this watermark be easily removed?
A watermark added this way becomes part of the page's content. While it cannot be removed by a simple click, a user with advanced PDF editing software could potentially remove it. For higher security, consider using a tool that flattens the PDF or converts pages to images after watermarking.
Is this process secure and private?
Absolutely. Your files and the watermark text you enter are never uploaded or transmitted. All processing is performed on your own computer by your browser.
